When Bobby meet her current colony, at first things didn’t exactly go to plan. She was greeted with a hot hive of angry bees and Bobby took flight for the hills. Luckily for us she thought better of it and returned that same night. She has been working hard since then to turn her colony around. Her colony had great plans for this girl, as she was destined for great things from the day she hatched out of her egg. She was nurtured and raised from this moment to take the throne as queen but had a few obstacles and blocks that she had to dispatch first. Her strength in overcoming these has been a godsend for this colony who are strong and healthy. They are proud propolis producers and live productive lives in their immediate surrounds of Lorn Rose farm with an abundance of flowers, farms and leafy suburbs all at a quick flights distance. Although she is young, early signs tell us she is a beautiful queen who has a quite disposition and has a colony who are focused on their task. She is already showing us she has her mothers sense of adventure. Which is a good thing as the hive sits within the grounds of the amazing Waukivory Estate. He is highly sort after for his consistently clam and productive Italian queens. Early signs show us G is confident on the comb, not bothered by prying eyes of us beekeepers and is driven to succeed. She calls Waukivory Estate home, which is at the door step of the World Heritage Listed Barrington Tops National Park and jaw dropping natural beauty is what best describes this place.
